Our clients include a great diversity of people many of whom cannot afford to pay the current rates for private practice therapy in the Bay Area.  They come looking for pastoral help or professional psychological help with a Christian perspective. 

  • A single mom who is attempting to finish her college education and is experiencing  panic attacks. 

  • A church leader struggling with sexual addictions

  • Widows and widowers processing the grief of losing their spouses

  • A young couple recovering from infidelity

  • A teenager with an eating disorder

  • A young man and woman who want to prepare for a healthy marriage

  • A father desiring to better manage his anger

Because people like you care and help we are able to provide counseling at a more affordable cost. 

Barnabas Counseling Center is a nonprofit organization sponsored by First Presbyterian Church San Mateo, CA.
