+Meet Our Staff

  Harold Botts, MA, Ordained is a Pastoral Counselor. Harold holds degrees in both Religious Education and Counseling Psychology. He has received specialized training in marital enrichment and counseling from Dr. John Gottman, Dr. Michelle Baldwin of PAIRS International, and Dr. Scott Stanley (PREP) of the University of Denver. Harold's areas of special interest include premarital counseling, marriage enrichment, couples counseling, recovery for adult survivors of childhood abuse, and guidance for personal and spiritual growth as people confront life issues.  
 
 Bonnie DeMartini, MA, MFT (MFC #43025) has been a marriage & family therapist since 1996. She incorporates a variety of therapeutical approaches into her practice in order to individualize and maximize the counseling experience of each client or couple.  Bonnie has experience with children, adolescents and adults experiencing personal difficulties, as well as couples and families struggling with relationship breakdowns.  Negative life experiences, trauma, and losses of all kinds, create negative patterns and beliefs that are often unclear to us.  These often hidden influences effect current life experiences.
Bonnie assists her clients in the process of discovery and recovery from depression, anger and anxiety.  With restored hope, healing and new ways of communicating, life and relationships can become healthy, satisfying and fulfilling.  
 Patricia Carlson, MA, MFT (MFC #35361) has a wide variety of experience as a therapist. Pat graduated with honors from the College of Notre Dame with an MA in Counseling Psychology. Her internships included work at the Suicide Prevention Center, the Rape Crisis Center and the Youth Health Clinic. She worked more than five years at the Family Service Agency of San Mateo County where she provided psychotherapy services to individuals and couples; facilitated weekly Women’s Therapy Group; counseled children, adolescents and families in the Child Abuse Division. Pat is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Burlingame where she has taught and been involved in leadership.
